As a former EBRPD employee I think that Sunrise Mountain Sports should remain in Lake Del Valle. Sunrise has an amazing crew and I know this because I have been priveliged to know the owners.Enen though I no longer live in the area I know people that still go to Del Valle for kayaking.

It is in the best interest of the sport and EBRPD clients to have this concession operated by knowledgeable, local, interested management. I don't see how Sunrise Mountain Sports can be bested in any of those categories.

I've rented and attended paddlefests at Sunrise at Del Valle. All were great experiences. They've been doing a great job, let them continue.

Sunrise is the best. My Girl Scout Troop benefitted from their classes. They take pride in teaching proper kayaking in a safe environment. They are trustworthy, and local. Please leave "well enough" alone.

Kim and the folks at Sunrise Kayaks are the right people to be there. I find very few people who support kayaking throghout the region more dedicated to not only kayaking, but also the enviroment we love.

Sunrise Mountain Sports operations of the Kayak Center has been outstanding. The staff is professional and polite. The equipment is maintained to the highest standard. the prices are affordable to tose of us with families. Keep Sunrise as the source of kayaking in Del Valle. Thier presence is one of the better features of the lake.EBRPD would be less without them as participants in the operations.

I have used this concession for years. They have been responsible for getting hundreds of people in the Bay Area active in kayaking and paddle boarding. This has had a very positive effect on usage fees for the EBRPD.
