College athletics are part of the college experience, they represent the university in a positive manner and are part of the fabric that makes up a schools emblem. Dropping/Cutting athletic programs is the easy way out... and the quickest way to continuous financial struggles, low enrollment, and lack of school pride. I am a college baseball coach myself, I keep hearing from administrators that these are “hard decisions” what’s hard about this? Quick short term savings or long term damaging effects on reputation. Want more students to attend La Salle and people in the community to back you? Be the good guys. Do the right thing and bring back the program

There is no reason to get rid of programs that are making a difference in the learning environment for student- athletes. This is a awful thing the University is doing. I will donate my time and sit down with the CFO of this university and show him other cuts that would not change any of these programs. This process is called caring and obviously this higher education is taking the easy road. Again I’ll donate my time and give you some simple solutions to fix these issues.
