The Mainland often leaves the Island Kythera without power or ferry services let alone providing it with a very ordinary airport service and facilities and now they want Kythera to support it's energy needs. They have adequate coastline with adequate wind to organise their own power needs.

It has been proven that they are detrimental to the environments and bad for the health of living organisms including human beings. We have to resist these atrocious ways as proposed by some in the Greek government .... both expensive and Ineffective . We know that one particular minister has been benefiting with this specific contract and his bank account is generating more funds than energy . Please stop it by any means

Our historical island of Kythera has always been protected with strict heritage laws on architecture and stricter environmental forest laws ‘Thasos’. How hypocritical that these Turbines would be considered. Please do not destroy our Heritage Island of Kythera.
