I'm a resident of Yuma County and parent of 2 swim athletes. Please fix Kennedy Pool and make it a long course pool so these kids can get that practice and we can host meets.

To be transparent, I an not a city resident. However, my family does live in Yuma County and our 2 kids both participate on a Yuma swim team. Getting Kennedy pool back online is so important for the community to ensure all our local athletes get adequate pool time, give locals a place to cool off in the summer and provide a fitness opportunity. Further, given the scope of work thar needs to be done here, there is an opportunity to make this an official long course pool which would allow us to make our athletes more competitive and host long course meets which will bring hundreds of folks to Yuma each meet in the summer months!

Been going to Kennedy for year my family live across the street. It's nice to have for the local area kids during the summer. SAVE THE POOL PLEASE!!!!
