Went to this pool as a kid I remember renting the blue bag to put all of my stuff in and the giant metal safety pins . This pool created so many memories for so many yumans.

The field trips to Kennedy Pool from Rolle Elementary were golden memories. The swim classes at Kennedy Pool for PE at Gila Vista Jr High made school fun. Many memories at Kennedy. It's were I learned to swim. It was the coolest slide. The fun place to go in the summer as a kid. SAVE THE POOL!

Please reopen! This is great for kids to get outdoors and off technology. A great break for everyone and good for physical health. I remember there was a water yoga class there as well.

I support saving Kennedy Pool. The community needs a pool on this side of town. Local schools used this pool for field trips, swim lessons and aqua aerobics, as well as swim meets were held here. I have many years of memories at this pool. Please save Kennedy Pool!

The city definitely needs to reopen the pool. There needs to be a swimming area available for the community and the kids on this side of town. In the 90’s I remember going to Junior High and having P.E. and swimming at the pool. During the summer it was a great place to go as a kid! From what I recall the turn out of kids was always good and don’t recall any issues being reported.
I know the city has the money to repair the pipes etc. Just like any facility there is wear and tear and expenses that go along with upkeep. I’m sure the community will be thrilled to vote on moving forward with the repairs.
