Last sentence got cut off...this preschool is fulfilling Princess Pauahi's will and legacy by educating children of Hawaiian ancestry. By closing it, would it not only hurt our keiki future, but also the princess her self.

Quality and affordable preschools are in a shortage especially this year with late-born children being held back from Kindergarten and the closing of other preschools on O'ahu. As a parent of a graduate of KS preschool Hale'iwa the news was heartbreaking. The staff is wonderful and our community needs this preschool to care for and educate our children in the most crucial years. Mahalo!

Both of my daughters went to Kamehameha prechool in Haleiwa and enjoy every moment of it. It gave them such a head start on kindergarten and prepared them for school to come. Please don't take away that opportunity for other young keiki.
