Former teacher here, no connection to anyone connected to the school. Seems like many young women need this experience even if it is not a cure all.

Any chance there is to make a difference in someone's life we need to put forth the effort to do so! We should always put others before ourselves! This school does just that, put these girls first so their lives are changed for the better!

These girls may not have made the best choices in their past, but they also dont want this to define them and neither should anyone else. What does this say about our community? These girls need this school. They are doing what we all want them to do. SUCCEED. Dont you want to see these girls be wonderful citizens and contribute to this community in a positive way?? Please please do what it takes to assist these girls in their journey of success. It started with them and their desire to do more for themselves and their children and what a great example they are setting for them. Kairos, it ends with you.

This is a great program to help future impoverished single-moms. Put the tax dollars in education not in welfare. Oh, and don't compare educational outcomes of pregnant teens to other teens.
Thanks!

If anything this school needs more help, and shutting it down is not a good answer. It's deplorable that leaders are shutting it down, taking help away from the people who need help the most!!! Shame on them !!

You can't take away something that's helping so many young girls who have potential to become great members of society because of something so trivial like test scores.

I'm sorry but if anything utah needs MORE outreach opportunities like this. We should have a CHOICE in school not just whatever public school is closest. This is what we need to make sure each student receives an education prioritized towards them to encourage better adults in our failing society.

I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for schools like this. I was able to graduate from school and I am now a married mother of 3 and a General Manager of a large retail store. These schools help.

I was a teen mom and went to a teen mom school, once a week and was given busy work. I felt like my diploma didn't mean much. If these girls are being supported in having a good education where they learn and excel, while being able to have child care and work...I completely support it. I would possibly be interested in contributing in someway to their educational experience.

I have seen teenage parents struggle in high school. I was glad that my high school had an on site daycare for the children of the teen parents as well as the staff's children.
