I did not go to this school, but I went to the Young Parent Program which was also shut down. Fortunately, I was the last class to graduate from that school 2014. But because I'm grateful to have recieved that help I sign this in hope that other teen moms are able to continue their education to be successful along with recieving help in the areas they need such as daycare and supportive staff.

My daughter has been attending this school for the last 2 years. Because of Kairos, she is on track to graduate early from High school. Because of Kairos, she has had amazing opportunities for her and her sons future. The Teachers and administration help with so many different issues that help these girls to succeed. I have been researching, and there are NO other reasonable accommodations to help these girls the way Kairos has. Nowhere else will they find flexible school hours along with free daycare, a supportive, non-judgemental environment, access to programs to help make goals and create plans for these girls to reach their goals! Kairos is the best option for these girls to be successful- please don't take that away.

I found I was pregnant at the age of 16 and if it wasn't for a school like this one I would have never graduated!! I graduated through Insight School of Washington on time at the age of 17 with my 1.5 year old watching me get my diploma. This is highly important that we have schools like this!' These young mom's need a place to learn and be educated!

I'm a young mother, not a teen mother, but I do understand how hard it is to be a young mother let alone a teen mother, young and teen moms deserve any and all help they can get as long as they are making an effort to help them selves.

I feel this school should stay! I know many teenage girls that go to this school and it has helped them so very much! If you take this school away, teenage girls falling back because of pregnancy, won't be able to have their careers as they would like.

As a mother who attended Kairos the very first year they opened when the school board shut young parent program down. Kairos gave me hope still and many other mothers as well!

We will forever have teen moms in the world and they will always need support. Education is extremely important and with more educated people comes less teen pregnancies. If this school gets shut down it is taking away the opportuning of supportive education for many many people.
