As a volunteer for the first 2 years of this school I personally saw the need for this school. I witnessed female students/mothers that normally would struggle struggle in a normal high school environment. The education they receive at Kairos are not only our typical abc's but how to succeed at being a young mother and empowering these young women with tools for future success. I'm not the only volunteer, there were many dedicated volunteers helping with babies, tutoring, empowering lessons, volunteers in all facets of running a high school for young mothers. I am still in contact with several students that have graduated and are succeeding because of Kairos. To see this school shut down is a vote to these young women that we don't care. Please respect those women and the people that out their heart and soul into Kairos by doing the correct thing.

This school is a much needed program for an underserved population. It does not make any sense to judge a program using the same measurements used in the mainstream schools that were already not meeting their needs.

The individualized care and education that this school has offered the most at-risk and vulnerable young mothers is remarkable. It is a huge mistake to close the doors of opportunity that Kairos offers!

This school is such a big help to these teen parents! So many didn't think they'd finish school till they went to Kairos! We wouldn't be where we are without this school!

At least one of my former students has benefited from this program! Without it, there's no telling where her life would be headed. Now she's six months from entering the medical field. She got pregnant at age 15. Please don't close this remarkable school down.
