This is an amazing nursey and should not be lost due to something so frivolous as wanting space for offices or classrooms when there is opious amounts of space available at the university

I think it is very sad to think about closing a nursery which is OFSTEDED as outstanding. A place which is failing or struggling I would understand but anursery which is giving children a fantastic start to life is totally ridiculous to close!!! How about think about the littles who learn the most during there early years this makes me mad to think Jungle Cats could be closed!!!

It is extremely difficult to find a very good nursery and now it is closing down, this needs to be stopped

The space saved will be minimal, such an outstanding nursery should not be allowed to close - I hope this decision can be reconsidered.

an amazing nursery ...a significant blow to childcare options in the area. my son and I will be so upset to say goodbye to the jungle cats team if it closes

Sounds like the nursery is a much needed resource for staff and students and that the college will gain very little from the closure when other solutions could be found for class room space. As a member of staff at a higher education institute, I know how important onsite childcare can be, especially for students who may have to drop out of their studies without it. It is also extremely important for staff, who work difficult hours. This would be a very bad decision by South Essex College if they were to go ahead with the closure.

Please don't close this most perfect nursery. The staff are wonderful and the little ones so happy - it will disrupt and sadden so very many people.

It's hard enough to find a good nursery, so to find one and then be told it's closing and you have to do it all again is a daunting prospect. Please don't close this nursery
