Greetings. I am a Professor for medeval and modern literature. The death of jon snow is a narrative catastrophe. The character is to vital for the story. He was just made by antagonising the undead leader, wielding the valarian steel sword, being in charge of nights watch and so on. Killing the character is a bad choice, Mr. Martin. With all do respect - you are well advised to revise this decision.

I sign this petition only because Jon Snoy is really worthy of life and is simply obliged to appear in future seasons.He is a character,full of justice and mercy,Varg,illegitimate stark,son of Eddard stark(or Lianna stark and Rhaegar Targaryen),998 Lord commander,a great fighter and a great friend.Moreover, he has plenty of chances to return(in the form of his direwolf,the white walkers,Azor Ahai,to be resurrected by Melisandre or rejoices from the ashes(if the correct version of his origin from Targaryen).He is one of the best characters that deserve life.Thanks.
