Since the dawn of the 1970s the Channel Island based airline has been operating the iconicBritten-Norman Trislander, for decades the Trislander has transported passengers from the Channel islands to France and the UK mainland. With the increasing maintenance costs, the Guernsey state owned airline has decided to retire the entire fleet by the end of 2014.. G-JOEY the most famous among the Trislander fleet, is and has been really popular with passengers and enthusiasts. What makes her different from all the Trislander's is that she has her own unique airline 'livery' and the nickname 'Joey' which comes from the aircraft's registration. This icon is famous for it's three engine design including a tail-mounted engine, for the future we need to preserve G-JOEY as a museum piece, with all your support we will be able to put enough pressure on Aurigny to save 'Joey'. She has served the Channel islands for decades, and defiantly deserves some recognition even if she'll never fly again.
