Joan has helped me become the person I am today. she provided a safe fun space for us to be who we were truly are and helped with our education both with fun activities in good shepherd or just activities in the garden. because of Joan, I was able to experience so many amazing life changing experiences. he helped the community and learned the skill many of used needed to grow.she has always and will always be there for student it wouldn't be right to take a person that is loved and has done so much away from the people that really need her. because of all the care and support I received from Joan I was inspired to because a person who can also help in any way I can.

Despite me dropping out of UHHS, Joan and the rest of the Good Shepherd folks helped me in times that I felt none of my friends could. Joan is a much beloved teacher and mentor in University Heights. The school and future students will miss out greatly on such an amazing human being.

I was a former student at uhhs and like most teens i went through a lot while in highschool. I had a lot of moments when things were unbearable joan would really go out her way if i was in crisis and listen to me no matter what i told her she never judged me she always kept it confidential and overall kept me safe you cant just get rid of her like shes garbage when this woman does more on a regular basis for these kids than the whole system itself she provides so many opportunities to children who other wise will have even a harder time finding those opportunities youre going to hurt so many students that are already deprived of opportunities by getting rid of joan fox !!!

Because of Joan I got into the field of Educatio. I work for the Board of Ed specifically with childrenthat have special needs. I am trying to give back an ounce of the love and support she has given me.

Joan is a great teacher, counselor and person overall. I entered freshman year lost and with no real ambition to do anything out of my comfort zone. Through Joan and her Aiming High program I was able to participate in several community service projects that I not only have grown from but benefitted tremendously from on my journey as a student. I owe most of my growth and beginnings to Joan and her absence would be a tremendous detriment to the students of University Heights; who depend heavily on Joan to get through High School the right way.

As a Former UHHS Student I can say that Joan was never just doing her job she would always go out her way to help all her students in anyway possible. Graduating wouldn't have been possible if Joan didn't continue pushing me . I'm so grateful that she was there.
