Jerry is a great color commentator. I always learn something from him. He has a wonderful eye and almost always sees the play better than even the umps. He is excellent. Lyons I always mute just drivel that is constant and I enjoy Eck occasionally but more in a studio setting.

Please do not release Jerry Remy!! It's already disastrous with Don!!!! If you release Jerry my very large family & friends will NEVER EVER watch NESN again!!!!

I got the feeling that NESN was doing something like this. I just hope that the arrogance of the NESN management doesn't ignore the viewer wants. If I wanted boring standard comentary of a game I would watch ESPN.

My wife and I were just talking the other day how much different watching baseball is with Jerry. He teaches you insights into the game nobody else does. Getting rid of Jerry would be the worst idea NESN ever made. I can't even believe they are considering it.

Other famous announcers have been allowed to continue forever. Jerry is THE voice of the Red Sox for Boston fans. We aren't like fickle fans in other places. If you don't think Jerry knows baseball, read one of his books. The man is smart and funny. KEEP JERRY
