As a Chatsworth Charter High School recently graduated Alumni I speak for myself and the rest of the community on behalf of our coach, Jay Creps. Jay puts countless of hours into our program. He put his time and effort into making the program as big as it is. Jay spends his money to make this program better. Because of Jay, we received a softball clubhouse, scoreboard, outfield fence, snackbar, backstop, and a NEW field. Jay cares not only about how we are playing but in the classroom as well. We have to maintain an even higher GPA (than what LAUSD wants us to maintain) to play softball for Chatsworth Charter. In the last five years, Jay has brought this program to the LAUSD D1 CIF Championships twice. He has built this program to be a competing D1 program. I don't see many coaches who put this much heart into something. He puts together team bonding events so us, as players and family, can become one strong unit in hopes of finding a long lasting forever friendship. It sickens me to see LAUSD making my coach "resign" or to be "terminated" because of a selfish act. I have written this petition to save my coach's job, because no other coach can fill the shoes of Jay Creps.
