Our Nations Heritage needs to be preserved. As more and more of our rural population moves to urban areas our roots are forgotten.

Once you lose it, it might never come back. Appreciate the fact you have a great rodeo. Ask Edmonton about losing the CFR. It sucks.

I have competed in Barrel Racing in the Jasper Rodeo for many years. It’s one of my favorite rodeos as we make a holiday out of it. We have rode the gondola and hiked Whistler mountain several times, shopped and spent money in the town of Jasper, stopped at the Columbia Ice fields. It would be a shame if you cancelled it...

As a Director for The Canadian Quarter Horse Association. I truly feel this would not benefit the park in anyway. Horses are as Heritage to the Rockies as Jasper. They were used as a means of transportation for both food and supplies so that the railway could be built.
They aided in putting out fires in areas that could not be reached.
Discontinuing anything to do with heritage of Jasper and Alberta. Would be a disgrace.
Maybe the parks should help out by doing more promotional on the rodeo sighting what exactly the horse did for Jasper and the people and how Versatile and useful they truly were.
Just my opinion but it would be ashame.
