Jan is a fantastic caring lady who has looked after all my pets for years. She has a mountain of experience and always does what's best for the animals. My neurotic dog is at ease with her.

I have never met someone like Jan that's Loves all her animals as if they where her animals also and so compassionate. she is not into it for the money that's for sure and so down to earth.

Canberra vets charge more than is reasonable or fair. Without a vet like Jan, having pets is a something only the rich can afford. We went to get our kitten vaccinated and other vets quoted us over $160. Jan charged us $30. She deserves respect and gratitude. Unlike other vets she charged a reasonable rate for the 5 minutes it takes to vaccinate a cat. She put our animal's welfare before making a profit. For that she deserves respect.
Thank you for helping us out Jan. The world needs more people like you.

Jan Spate is my Vet and does a bloody good job I tell ya and Iv been going to her ever since I was 3 when I had my first pet :) couldn't go to any other vet she's so lovely and is all about the animals! We need more like Jan Spate! Don't close her down! Think of the Animals!!!!!

Jan might not be everyone's cup of tea, but she's always done right by my family and friends that use her clinic. She doesn't charge an arm and a leg, and has in the past allowed me to pay off a bill in an emergency. Enough is enough. She's worked hard to help the animals that she looks after, let her practise in peace.

Jan looked after my baby (Staffy) when she was so ill.. She was amazing, kind and well skilled .. If I hadn't moved I would still be using her

I'm truly confused as to what person in their right mind would want to close down the practice of this lovely lady. She has gone over and above the care of duty for a vet a number of times for my horses. The closure of her practice would create a large void in the veterinary services available in Canberra. This would be a devastating loss.
