Jan has been my vet for 26 years and is the kindest, most hard working person I know. SHAME to the people who want to shut her down.. It is entirely money driven because she puts you all to shame...

I have taken my pets to Jan for over 20 years now and I am absolutely gutted that the veterinary bored is still causing her grief...
I would not trust anyone else with my pets... especially after losing my best friend and companion to another vet whom not once not twice but three times stuffed up and after reporting them to the veterinary board nothing happened... I have never known a more compassionate vet who not only cares deeply for the animals but also the owners!

I have known Jan for almost 30 years & she is the most compassionate vet I have ever known if it wasn't for Jan I wouldn't be able to rescue as many animals because she makes it affordable & the reason is because she does it for the animals not for the money I have a child with ADHD/Anxiety & depression & animals are very therapeutic for him but without Jan he couldn't have that & if your struggling financially she is always happy to wait for Payment as long as the animals don't suffer because it's about the animals. I took my dogs to the Vet in Crookwell NSW when I had them desexed & had the money to pay up front I also asked them to remove a large growth on my sons dogs shoulder but they went & removed 3 other small lumps without checking with me first & these small ones could have waited because the poor dog had stitches everywhere & was in a great deal of pain & then they told me I had to pay $1000 which I only had $600 & was struggling they rang my son & harassed & bullied him when they couldn't get me because I refused to speak with them when they were being so rude & aggressive, they sent me messages through my Facebook so I blocked them & then they started ringing my friends in town asking them to pass messages on....Very Unprofessional & no compassion for the animals. Jan Spate is the best.

Jan genuinely cares about the animals more then any other vet around town.
We called her on a Sunday when our kelpie came inside with a cut and she was more then happy for us to bring her out rather then get ripped off going out to Fyshwick. Her prices are fair and not over priced.

Jan is the vet you will first think of when an animal is in need. Not only the beloved pets but all the working dogs, live stock and horses. Jan will always go out of her way and she is NEEDED by us all. Rural and domestic animals need Jan or animals will be the ones who suffer ofcourse along with their owners. Thank you Jan for all your help over the years.

Leave Jan alone and let her continue doing the amazing work that she does! I've been seeing Jan for all of my fur babies for about 16 years and she has always been fantastic.. So caring and professional!! I cannot believe people are putting her through this bs again!!
