Jan Spate is a guardian Angel to all of the animals that she treats.Christmas morning 2015,my male Boer goat was severely ill,she treated him and watched over him on Christmas Day,till I was able to take him home .No other vet would have done that without taking out a personal loan.my boy is alive today thanks to Jan Spate.Stay Strong Jan

Can't believe these accusations against Jan, doesn't the board have better things to do? I have used Jan for 25 yrs, and throughly happy with her services, even at 1 am in the morning. Shame on the board!

I have paid vets and spoken to many people who have taken their animals to registered vets, animals have died for unexplained reasons (incompetence )and still got charged to the max, this is all about their profits and sadly the public servants who are judging her are greedy career public servants who don't have a clue because they are brainwashed by the local government.

Our local vet clinic quoted $800 upwards for our terrier's teeth to be cleaned. Jan charged $5 and still apologised, saying that the dog's teeth did not even need cleaning.

In my time of financial stress, my animals would have been dead as no other vet showed a pinch of compassion.

Jan saved my puppy, TWICE! Her prices were fair and affordable and without her generous help my puppy would of died. I owe my dogs life to this woman and the people who work for her. Taking away her licence is taking away innocent animal lives-literally! Have some compassion

We went to her years ago as I was born and grew up in Canberra, after finding out about Jan, I wouldn't have went anywhere else! And maybe that's the REAL problem here, as perhaps that is what people are doing as, unlike other people, her concern is the animals and their owners, not the money she's making off them! Unlike most other vets! It truly seems to be a labour of love for her more then anything else - People like her should be encouraged and used as inspiration for upcoming vet students I think and not punished! I'm not saying she is perfect - who really is?! - and people make mistakes! Is she being punished because a lot of animals have died under her care? If she did all she could do to save them well that's all she could do! And how can people judge her on that anyway?! They are not there watching everything she does for these animals! This is just the usual bull of people trying to stamp out the underdog if you ask me, Jealous other vets perhaps or maybe people that are lashing out in grief because she couldn't save their beloved pet/s? Whatever it is, its wrong and not the Aussie way

Jan has helped out our familys pets for years and doesnt deserve to be treated like this. Kind hearted people should be appreciated not punnished for other people's mistakes and ungratefulness.
