Save Jan Spate's Vet Clinic

Whever people in the ACT region ask for vet recommendations, Jan Spate's name is the one most recommended.

I've known, grown up with and worked for Jan for the last 30 years. Jan and her business are an integral part of our community, providing vet care to the hundreds of people who walk through her door daily, weekly & after hours. She should be commended for the work she does not ridiculed and bullied by the very board that is supposed to support her. Not renewing her licence will be a massive injustice.

Jan has been my family's vet for over 30 years. Not only is she awesome with domestic animals, but she is also excellent with large animals such as horses, cattle etc. Where would the people of Canberra find vet care for their 'rural' animals without Jan?? Being the Bush Capital Canberra needs Jan Spate!!!

Jan is a wonderful person who puts animals before herself. She looked after our horses when I lived on a farm near Hall & would be there instantly if needed. Her expertise and caring are a great asset to the community and her dedication cannot be doubted. She is a true vet, in the vocation because she cares.

Voted best Vet in Canberra. Always has the animal's welfare as the number one priority. I'd honest and open about the animal's health. Even if Jan doubled or tripled her fees she'd still be cheaper than most other Vets. No wonder they want her gone.

Kate Webb Jan has been our vet since 1998 when we moved here from Forbes NSW. Jan has saved my pet dog and her litter of puppies when they were sick. At 8.30 on a Sunday night and I believe if Jan was not there to save them they would have died. She is the best and most caring vet I have ever used in my life. Let her do her job in peace.

Jan is an asset to canberra. She looks out for everyone from animals yo their families she is kind hearted and doesnt take advantage if people like other vet practices do. She needs to continue her valuable work here in canberra dont take this womans licence because vets feel they are threatened by her successful talent.

I have never gone to Jans practice as I live in Tuggeranong ,but have heard from friends that she is the best vet on the Northside ,So leave her practice alone
