I support jan spate her clinic is a small country vet yet all of us travel to see her for me its 30 minutes drive. I have had animals die and jan was very supportive . She explained everything told me to come out on a sunday to do emergencies and never has a day off. That kind of dedication i support .i am happy to stand before god and the board as a witness any time . If you stand in her office and see how many clients she has and you way up the scales she does the best and deserves better treatment.

Unlike most vets, Jan is dedicated to the welfare of animals, not lining her pocket. Without her services in the ACT community, a lot of people wouldn't be able to afford to keep a pet

I have been taking my animals to Jan Spate for almost 10 years. During that time she has provided a professional service, carefully diagnosing and treating my animals in a caring and kind manner. Most recently she treated my dog for a bout of pancreatitis. Jan was attentive and thorough, picking this condition up when the emergency vet (after hours) did not. Had it not been for Jan, my dog might not have got through this nasty condition.

Jan is a talented, knowledgeable, kind and compassionate vet who truly cares about helping animals without charging ridiculous amounts of money. The veterinary board needs to reconsider their decision.

I have been going to Jan for more than 25 years. She is a brilliant caring Vet who is more interested in caring for animals than charging exorbitant fees. Her clinic is always packed and she never turns anyone away due to lack of funds or asks for a credit card before she will treat an animal. Canberra will lose a fantastic service if Jan is forced to close.
