My bestfriend went there from 1st-8th. She’s one of the most well mannered and respectful people I know who’s very open minded and creative. She tells me story’s often about her time here and has scrapebooks with her time at this school and the opportunities she had. This academy opens such a light for the Hispanic community. Please don’t take that away.

Notifying the students, parents, faculty and staff three weeks before the beginning of the school year was a complete lack of consideration for all of us. This was very disappointing coming from the Archdiocese.

My daughter attends St. Mary's New Monmouth and there is no comparison to the education and Catholic values that she had learned. This education needs to be available to all Catholics to insure the future of the Church

This is the only catholic elementary school in the Ironbound. It is a necessary choice for parents living and working in this area. It cannot close.

ICA is an adventure. I arrived in 4th grade and graduated this year. My adventure was fantastic as I got to experience it with my classmates and teachers. It would be such a great thing if ICA reopened so that all students can experience the wonderful and wild adventure I had. This school is unlike any other. The memories you make here will never be forgotten. This is our second home and it should remain that way.#reopentheschool!

There are so many schools closing down and ICA shouldn’t be one of them. My parents gave me a choice to come here and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Although I got in trouble a lot i’ve become a better person. My brother should get the same. Please allow him to finish his academic years here at ICA.

The option of a Catholic education is exactly what some students need. Public school and charter schools may be right for some students, but not everyone. Allow families to have this option for their children.
