My kids went there when it was st casimirs. The education, discipline and friendships that were formed there you cannot receive in an over crowded public school. Save this intricate establishment

Please save this school. It is the last in the Ironbound and if the Diocese is truly interested in teaching our young our Faith this is way you do it. Show they care and show they are serious in their commitment to our young and our faith.

Parents, students, staff and community members seem more than willing to brainstorm on a solution but they were left out in this decision that will definitely change their lives. Transparency creates trust and the community that is ICA should have had the opportunity to respond and offer perspective before getting to this point. Hopefully, there is some reconsideration a few months from now so that students do not suffer a great loss to their education. Many students will be displaced and right now is the worst time to create more disorganization for anyone. So sorry to hear about this and I hope all of the families find solutions that work for them.

The Ironbound Catholic School is in the heart of Newark helping so many workers with their kids that live close by and work in the same area. This school should still be open to help these people.
