I am a product of Catholic education and am a firm believer in the love, discipline and education it provides. My daughter was happy, safe and flourishing. Her teachers and the staff made her feel like family. I am so sad that the archdiocese made this decision and ask that they please reconsider. ICA made the pandemic bearable for our kids. Through meetings, online class and keeping them engaged. My daughter looked forward to seeing her classmates faces online or simply the posting of work from her teacher. Her teacher, who always checked in. I have never met a tighter school family (apart from the very own I was a part of which sadly were closed too). Please stop closing down these schools and instead come up with a strategy. We have NO catholic school IN the actual city that houses THE Archdiocese!!! Keep ICA open. Let us know what we can do to make that happen!

This isn’t just a school. It’s a community that cares for each and every child. This is a family.
The Archdiocese took that from us without considering the consequences. To close the school 3 weeks before the start of the semester was a complete lack of respect to the parents, students, faculty and staff.

This school has been around for many years and it is a bad decision in closing it down due to the fact that kids at the school enjoyed being there with my granddaughter being one of them.

My granddaughter attends this school. It is such a beautiful school. Which school can say that the Principal knows every student by name, every parent and grandparent? ICA does. We are a family here. We are united and stand up for each other. You don't see that in other Catholic schools. Very sad the way the school closure was handled with such short notice. Not fair.

Our children are the blessing we received from God and with the Church we share the mission of teaching them about our faith, so they could be the future vocations, priests, and religious brothers and sisters, and the good leaders of our society. We learn in our faith that we have to be part of the solution, part of the miracle, and that we have to teach our children that. Why, then, is not the church's leaders asking for our opinion about schools, not informing us about problems when it is too late. You want our support. Then value our opinions. If we just accept the closing of our schools without giving a good fight, and involving everybody in the process, then prepare also for the closing of parishes and the decrease of Catholics. Please, let us help keeping our Schools open!

This was a school I partook in as a first grade teacher! I have never been associated with such an incredible school community! It was an absolute pleasure to work for such a progressive and well organized school. It has an incredible reputation and a high quality level of education. We must continue to teach our students in this type of culture and raise our children in the strong catholic education.
