From my time working in the voluntary sector in Leeds I know how important this is to local people. Green spaces like this need to be protected not only for what they are but what they represent, which, among other things, is a lot of people's ongoing hard work.

Hi Siobhan, you're absolutely right about the negative impact on residents with the flats overlooking nearby properties. This was raised at the councillors drop in today at the library and can be a reason for turning down applications.
