Please help save Inkwell Gardens. We are a group of concerned residents opposed to a new development of 9 flats which will completely destroy the beautiful garden space at Inkwell. We are also concerned about the effect this development will have on local residents and the destruction of a green area. The full plans can be viewed here:

https://publicaccess.leeds.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=documents&keyVal=NFP87IJB17S00

We have set up the website www.saveinkwellgardens.co.uk please share this with as many people as possible and sign our petition, thank you.

I've added a map at www.saveinkwellgardens.co.uk to show streets where leaflets have been dropped. Can you spare the time to do your postcode?

I am currently drafting a formal objection based on the environmental impact reports found in the planning portal. My next step is to coordinate with the local planning officer to ensure our concerns are included in the official record.

Hundreds of people use this garden and space for numerous things throughout the year. To take this away will be an absolute rescuery for the local community and beyond. Its very presence touches hundreds of people in so many diverse ways!

I am disappointed to see that Inkwell Garden is under threat. I know the amount of work that has gone into maintaining them and getting service users and volunteers involved with the Green Gym, and this is a valuable community resource that should not be lost.

Inkwell is a very special place, to its core beneficiaries as well as to the community at large. The garden is an integral part of the Inkwell experience. It would not be the same without this green hinterland. local community at large.

Yet another beautiful green space up for grabs for greedy developers whose only interest is money. These small pockets of green space are vital for any community, particularly those with mental health issues who have benefited so greatly from Inkwell Gdsn.

I've been using Inkwell for over 2 years now and have watched the Green Gym and volunteers develop an open thriving area, growing fresh food and supplying a welcome space for all to meet and interact. To destroy this active beneficial site would be despicable

The Art in the Garden facility during the summer has been a welcome addition to Inkwell's facilities. Making art at the same time as service users nurturing plants makes for an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere. Would be a terrible shame to lose it.
