Please reconsider your decision to close Sutton East Tennis club. It is one of the only options available to play tennis during the winter season and would be devastating. Thank you for your consideration.

There are so few places to play tennis in New York City, please keep this facility open! I sign this petition on the eve of the most momentous men's and women's Australian Open Finals in recent memory. Tennis' popularity will only continue to grow!

The Sutton East tennis courts are a valuable resource for the community and it would be a shame to see them closed.

This is a wonderful place to play tennis! Also, clay courts are important for people with bad joints.

Please keep this tennis facility open. We have much access to parks throughout the city but very little access to an indoor tennis facility especially on the east side of Manhattan.

closing Sutton tennis would be a terrible mistake, the facility is an enjoyable place.

We need as many recreational sport venues in the neighborhood and eliminating tennis for another park under a bridge will not accomplish this. It has been a huge asset for our kids, and we need it.

This is an amazing and affordable tennis space for everyone in the city that enjoy tennis. The courts elsewhere in the city (including the new york city run community courts) require annual memberships or registered passes which are hard to obtain. It would really impact the local community if this closes.

Please keep these courts open - I play there every week! The community would really feel the loss if these courts, which have been such a part of our neighborhood for decades, were to close.
