It's absurd to think Sutton tennis might be closing. With very few places to play tennis in Manhattan, the closure of sutton will be a devastating and not a good look for the city.

The city needs these spaces to diversity in sports that can be offered to kids and adults. After all NY is the home of the US Open!

Please keep the facility open - both my daughter and I use the tennis courts. They are a great way to keep active in the cold weather months!

A reduction in Manhattan court availability will only exacerbate the expenses that urban tennis players experience.

I fear what the city would use this space for if it weren't for the hundreds of people that occupy the tennis courts through the winter.

Dear Madam/Sir,
This is not a question of a thousand tennis enthusiasts losing their favorite ground to play, nor a one of softball pitch or summer dog walk in the neighborhood..this is a question of almost 30 families losing their income.
Let us hope the decision makers will consider what a potential lease cease will mean to them.
Thank you,
Peco

I use the Sutton tennis indoor courts weekly. It is one of the only ways I can continue to play tennis in Manhattan. Please keep them open.
