Please don't close these courts!! There are no other affordable indoor options in the city. Keep the beautiful game alive in the cold winter months! Please!

We have very few facilities for playing tennis in Manhattan which have good coaches and are reasonably priced. Can we please not close this. Thanks.

There are so few places in the city to play tennis indoors in the winter, while also utilizing the space for baseball fields in the summer, another rarity. There is a park directly across the street not to mention a new green space being completed a road the same street, above the highway. Unless there are other plans for both those spaces that the public is unaware of?

Net net, more New Yorkers will enjoy playing tennis under the Queensboro Bridge than enjoy walking, sitting under the Queensboro Bridge which is actually very noisy and dark

Sutton East serves neighborhood CHILDREN. There are plenty of places to walk, to run or to play softball in Manhattan. There are hardly any to play tennis, especially all year round. Anybody who believes that our neighborhood is better served by, and would get more use out of, a softball field and a running track is being disingenuous. Those who have lobbied to remove the tennis courts do not have the best interests of the neighborhood in mind. They have a simple and wrong-headed philosophical view that public spaces should never have private entities regardless of the value to the community, the jobs created or revenue raised for the city. Further, they have a mean-spirited view that tennis is only for the rich. This is nothing more than class warfare and in the case of tennis, is wrong. Do the right thing for the neighborhood: keep the tennis courts.

There are limited indoor tennis options in Manhattan - this is a much needed resource.

Please don't close this great facility. In this part of New York, we need more options for tennis, physical fitness and to be able to connect with our neighbors. For those passionate about tennis, there are so few options. This is a great one. We're counting on you to do the right thing and advocate for us.

Please don't close these tennis courts! They're a boon to the community. They're valuable to everyone who lives in the Upper East Side and beyond. Please reconsider!

Please, please keep our tennis club open. New Yorkers need more options for physical fitness and to be able to connect with our neighbors, not less. We're counting on you to do the right thing and advocate for us.
