My family would be deprived of a great amenity in this city if the facility were to be closed.

Sutton East Tennis Club is one of those places that makes NYC unique in many ways. It would be wrong to shut them. Thanks.

These courts allow important recreational development for children in a city that continually struggles to keep a proper balance. Given the enormous amount of real estate development and increased tax base for NYC, these courts should stay and residents should be allowed the use of this precious resource.

this club is a terrific place for juniors to learn to play and offers tennis programs to all ages and abilities throughout the season

Please save Sutton East Tennis for this and future generations!! Please do not close this outstanding sports facility to thousands of children and families! My young children learned tennis and their love of the sport of tennis from Sutton East Tennis and the generous instructors of Yorkville Youth Athletic Association. They would not be playing tennis now or dreaming of this sport were it not for the accessible tennis facilities at Sutton East Tennis. The NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, and all stakeholders, has a moral and public responsibility to serve the recreational needs of children and families, through outstanding facilities and programs, such as those offered at Sutton East Tennis. As a citizen and taxpayer of NYC, this is what I expect from the NYC Parks Department.

It is a great use of the space under the bridge and is one of the few places In the city where kids can play in the winter.

Please keep this sanctuary of health, fitness, and community from closing. New York needs to be more than crowded subways and construction sites. Sutto Tennis provides a much needed service, it reminds us city life need not be totally cut off from healthy lifestyles.

For all the taxes I am forced to pay to live here, it would be nice to be able to play a game or two of tennis. Focus on more important things.... Keep the courts alive and well!!!!
