Say it isn't so! Mayor Dinkins would never allow this!

Love these courts! My daughter and I both learned to play here. They bring valuable foot traffic and revenue to Roosevelt Island businesses, and are one of the few remaining activities on-island for residents. Kids from Manhattan love to commute by tram, and these courts are a landmark for all New Yorkers.

Please keep the bubble there. We need to play tennis in the winter and stay fit

My two children have been playing tennis here for several years. Having this resource in our community has enriched our lives. We sincerely hope that you will not close this indoor tennis facility. It is already very difficult to find places to play in Manhattan.

Sutton East Tennis Club has been the goto tennis club for the residents in and around the neighborhood. It should continue to stay open to serve the public community.

Please do not shut the tennis bubble down There is limited exercise options in the winter and even fewer tennis options -- please do not remove an NYC staple that brings joy, (affordable!) exercise , socialization to families, groups and individuals.

Do not shut down Sutton East. It contributes tremendously to the quality of life of our community. It is an ideal use of this property and a safe place for our kids.

My wife and I had our first date at these courts in 1993, almost 25 years ago. (She beat me.)
