New York has far too few tennis courts, especially affordable indoor ones. It is vital to preserve the ones we have.

This is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. The east side has very few recreational spaces and tennis under the bridge is an excellent use of space that is otherwise unusable. Retail stores closer to 1st ave have not thrived, so why not keep this a public space.

The city has made it nearly impossible to enjoy tennis in New York. Let's not make it even worse.

I used these courts when I lived in NYC and having the ability to play tennis was one of the few ways I was able to manage a high stress job and the daily "grind" of NYC. I have no doubt if I still lived in the city I would still use these weekly. It would be a shame to lose that healthy outlet for stress for so many hard working people.

These tennis courts are a beautiful addition to the neighborhood and local community. I have enjoyed playing here for years and have made countless friendships while attending lessons here.

We can’t let the city close the tennis courts. It’s the one place to find both community and engaging physical activity. There are few places where people of ALL ages come together- that is the reason we should want people to come live in our city. I cannot imagine that something else will replace the courts and be better for our city. It would be a travesty and disservice to our community for both the older and young generations

Please keep these courts available to all of us in NYC. They are great for all of us who use them. When I have guests come from other countries they love it! It adds to the great reputation of NYC!

Please save this institution that supports a sport that can be enjoyed for a lifetime. I've been playing for 50 years and I'm always learning new aspects of this game. Every court in Manhattan must be saved?
