Please, please continue tennis at Sutton East! There are so few opportunities to play such a great sport like tennis as it is! I would think the discussion should be around adding more tennis courts in Manhattan, not take them away! I've met so many friends through Sutton East and have been able to continue playing the sport I love while living in Manhattan because of Sutton East. The staff are so friendly and deserve the opportunity to keep helping others enjoy this amazing sport and fostering the great community around it. SAVE SUTTON EAST!!!

A huge loss to NYC resident if the city decides not to allow this recreational facility to survive!

Sutton East Tennis has been around for ages and is used by New Yorkers and visitors. It is a city icon and helps to built local tennis talent. To even consider closing this is a huge error in judgement. It MUST be kept open.

Sutton East Tennis Club is such an amazing place. There are so few places where you can play tennis in the city and Sutton has amazing courts and coaches. Please do not close it down!

Sutton East is a place where young kids can leave out big dreams by way of tennis. It will be a detriment to NYC if they are denied this privilege. Keep Sutton East alive and open!

My daughter has loved each moment of her playing tennis at Sutton East. Taking away these fascilities will unable her to continue her passion for this game. These courts are convenient for us located at Mideast.

My children highly enjoy tennis at Sutton and they would be crushed if this place closed down. With two full-time working parents in the family we cannot commute anywhere else further to keep them playing. It will break their hearts to stop tennis. Sutton also offers us parents affordable packages year-round. We skip a gym membership in favor of tennis! If courts close, who will use/work out in a loud dirty park under the bridge with dust fallout? No one! Please don’t take away a place that keeps us active and healthy, we already have jobs where we sit 8 hours a day. Sutton is a godsend place full of kind people and world-class pros. Please listen to our pleas, we need Sutton East!

Please do not close down the tennis courts! They utilize an otherwise dead space under the bridge allowing residents, neighbors, seniors, students and kids to play in cold weather, and helps keep our sanity in this city where courts are far and few in between. Please! These courts are one important reason to keep living on the UES.
