I would hate to see this valuable asset lost after over 40 years of serving the people of New York. The young people of New York City need more options like this not less!

I like that there's tennis available, but it is indeed too expensive. Let's work out some sort of situation where more of the community can have access to these courts.. and keep them as courts!

Dear Sir/Madam, The tennis court under the bridge (Sutton East) is so important to the community. Please don't close it. Thanks, Oliver Yang

Why on earth would you want to close this? It is part of our neighborhood!

These courts are a NYC treasure! I will be heartbroken if they disappear--there is no affordable indoor alternative in Manhattan. Why destroy such a unique place?

You are ruining this city if you take away a complex such as this. A place such as Sutton East provides the eastern side of Manhattan with amenities that large and great cities like NYC need. It is beyond short sighted to close it. These facilities are already completely lacking in NYC - home of the US Open, a major international event.

Sutton East is a vital part of the community providing an important resource to both children and adults all year long. Closing it will be an enormous mistake and a huge loss!!

City needs to support tennis like they support so many other sports. In other countries, most cities subsidize tennis centers to ensure kids can play at affordable rates.

Why would the city wish to take away this cherished club from New Yorkers? This has served New Yorkers as an affordable recreation for families and children. There is no other affordable place where everyone can enjoy this sport in the winter time! What alternative has the city offered, none?

I moved to Manhattan about a year ago and finding the Sutton East Tennis Courts has been a wonderful experience so unique to NYC. I see all ages taking advantage of the facilities. Please let them continue to operate!

Please don't demolish the tennis courts. There are relatively few tennis courts in a city as large as New York; demolishing the Sutton East courts will only make the limited supply of courts worse in a city of people who depend on tennis for exercise.
