I love Please confirm your availability to play this Thursday.;saying tennis at these courts... They are used by a lot of citizens Kids, adults and elderly.... in the summer I pass the area everyday and hardly see anyone using the area when the courts are down! Why would you discontinue this program?

Please don't take the opportunities of learning tennis away from kids and adults. Space for activities is so limited already in NYC. We, the ordinary New Yorkers all deserve a little bit of attention from city officials and politicians in terms of what's good and beneficial for the 99%.

These courts are a landmark. JD Salinger even wrote about them in Catcher in the Rye. We need a place for our kids to play tennis. Not everyone can afford to go to Long Island or other more expensive centers. I am an Obesity Medicine doctor. Obesity is increasing by the minute and the city is doing it's best to take away all play spaces for kids and adults alike.

There are very few indoor places for kids to play during the wintertime in Manhattan let alone to learn how to play tennis.
