There are limited options for tennis, and the clay courts have been around since the early 80's. New York City needs to recognize these pockets of recreation are important to New Yorkers.

Please keep these courts open. Having clay courts in the City is a valuable resource.

There are already too few indoor tennis courts in Manhattan. Please keep these courts at Sutton East open.

Tennis in neighborhood is a very important addition to an area with a lack of parks - please keep it for our kids and seniors!

Tennis is a life long sport and it will be a shame to lose the ability to help NYC kids to have a foundation that allows them to have this benefit

Please save the indoor tennis courts in Manhattan. We are severly restricted in winter, with no options to play tennis in the city. Unless of course you are the 1% and can afford to play private at $120 per hour. Save the tennis courts!!!

This is an exceptional tennis club and a wonderful place that provides so many people with pleasure and a location to exercise and do something they are passionate about. Tennis is a beautiful sport that people can play for their entire lives. It is a cerebral sport that necessitates serious critical thinking under pressure and in stressful situations, thus it helps develop very important life skills. 65 employees work here at Sutton East Tennis Club, and we will be out of a job if the bubble is foolishly removed. Tennis is associated with the upper echelon of society and the elite, however the majority of my students are regular working people that simply want a workout and a fun time. Children from all over the city come here and play and exercise and laugh hysterically-they will be displaced and unable to continue lessons with their favorite instructors.
Who wants to play in a park under a bridge? It will be empty, unused, and unsightly. It could potentially become a location for elicit activities and homeless people to loiter. There is no sunlight and it is incredibly loud because of the traffic above.
Please our lives happy and keep the bubble.

Makes sense to continue use as covered tennis space for the winter months.
