please save holy family, most beautiful church around, my dad and mom was married there

I married into the Maday family and have attended weddings in this beautiful church. My husband and I cared for the graves of the family members when we returned to the area after 20+ years in the U.S. Army. Please don't destroy the memories.

I completely understand the frustration of seeing a beloved church close and I appreciate your feelings, Sue. But I want to be very clear that we, the parishioners of Holy Family, have nothing against St. John Vianney members. It is Bishop Quinn that has recommended that we become an oratory. I know of several SJV members that want to see Holy Family remain open. They have been gracious enough to attend Mass at Holy Family, offer their words of encouragement, and to add their signatures of support. We have a very good, workable relationship with SJV members that I pray will continue for years to come. Yes, Holy Family is a beautiful church that we pray will remain open for generations to come.

I think people are being anti Christian the way the closing of the church is being handled. Holy Family church has an amazing following & attendance every week. I don't know the whole story,it seems to me the St John Vienney Church members are running scared because Holy Family in East Chain has a better attendance & following, for the size. That's why they are so quick to tear it down, no fear of us "coming back". Holy Family is a beautiful Historic church, with the nostalgic feel. It's the prettiest one in the area. SHAME ON EVERY ONE OF YOU that are pushing to tear it down. How would you feel if this was happening to your beloved church.

Do not close this church.. No reason to.. It means alot to a few of my friends and their family.. Keep it open!

This is the parish my Dad started his Catholic faith journey. Our St. Ann's in Murray, WI was closed by our bishop and "community" was lost as well as many of the faithful.

Our fore fathers worked so hard to build this beautiful church for our future. Please keep it open.

My husband's family attended this Church for many,many years. I also have family members who were members of this Parish. Please keep this Church open!

Save this church. It is where a whole congregation prays together. Why in the world anyone would want to get rid of a church that is used by the people is beyond me. It bonds the lives of the community!!!!

Please save the Holy Family church in East Chain, this church holds many memories to all that attend, the family has been here for many years, do not let it end here, there seems to be many families from the area that still attend and want to hold this church together.. To beautiful and close to the cemetery where many family members are laying at rest. Please keep this church alive. God Bless

Please keep Holy Family Church open. This church has been in my mothers family since it was built and I want my children to know where their Catholic up-bringing began and continues to live.
