The diocese finally backed down and Holy Family Church is officially staying open. Those suits in the front office underestimated how hard we would fight to save our home. We won this battle but do not think for a second that we are taking our eyes off them.

The diocese thinks they can tear down Holy Family Church while we sit back and watch. We are about to hit one hundred signatures so push this link to your neighbors right now to force them to listen.

My faith foundation was formed at Holy Family and the close knit congregation. The world needs the seeds planted in churches such as these to go forth and help others. I implore the decision makers to look beyond the numbers and take all the dynamics into consideration. Please preserve this church!
It's not a question of breathing life into this parish, it's already there. I am hopeful Bishop Quinn is given accurate information, and understands the determination and vitality of Holy Family Church.
This is a vital viable religious community and it deserves preservation. Unlike many congregations this one has always been self-sufficient both financially and through the involvement of its members.
I married into the Maday family and have attended weddings in this beautiful church. My husband and I cared for the graves of the family members when we returned to the area after 20+ years in the U.S. Army. Please don't destroy the memories.
It will always be 'home' to me. I played the organ EVERY week while I was in high school. This church was my sanctuary while growing up. My 'safe' place.
