My mom's family lived in Helena for decades. I love to see this kind of progress in the community.

The Eliza Miller building is such a historic landmark and has a lot of life left in it so there is no need to tear it down. When you can use such a building to implement something positive in the community that will benefit all and new generations of people, it is a must that a plan well put together should execute. This is a missing piece in our community and it can play very vital role to better our community.

It was a nice and economical, venue for our high school class reunion and my family reunion. We need to keep this space in this community for the people.

Great cause. All graduates of Eliza Miller and those who attended Eliza Miller should respond to this request.

Preserving the history of Eliza Miller High School is a mission l will support. The idea of a refurbished, repurposed, community center and venue dedicated to the African American History of the Helena West Helena community can be nothing but a benefit to everyone. I’d like to see it as a tourist attraction and just as important as Freedom Park. Please preserve the History of Eliza Miller High Schoo!

Our community has lost so much and the state of the city is a reflection of those losses. The bustling vibrant city that we enjoyed offered activities and opportunities that allowed us to mature and have fun. We felt valued and we valued our community, which compelled and propelled us to strive for greater. Save this building, show the kids and the people that you value them. Please begin to re-build a strong vibrant community again by using EMJH as a hub to offer educational support, host community events and address systematic functions that have caused the city to farther deteriorate.
