Restrictions and physical barriers should be placed at the junction with Milford Park to prevent inappropriate traffic from approaching the bridge at all.

I’m local and would support this. HGV’s shouldn’t be driving down here.

Stop lorries using the bridge. All roads in this part of Salisbury aren’t suitable for heavy vehicles.

It’s a no brainer, of course we need to protect this special bridge!

Last autumn I emailed the transport manager of an English company with images from my dash-cam of one of their articulated HGV's passing over this bridge. As expected I received no reply so it would appear that it is not only the drivers who are unconcerned.

I am a local milfordian and would welcome any measures to free up congestion and heavy loads using this beautiful bridge.

Salisbury needs a By-Pass. An opportunity to re-route the A303 and solve Salisbury's Through Traffic problems was rejected, so a new Plan needs to be forthcoming to resolve the rediculous Traffic chaos in Salisbury. The Damage large HGV's cause to the old infrastructure is just further evidence that the Traffic infrastructure around Salisbury is sadly lacking foresight and must be reviewed urgently !

This would be a travesty if this was not left as it is!

Wholeheartedly support this petition. Bridge not designed for huge volumes of traffic or heavy vehicles. Stop the rat-run!

An urgent issue that needs addressing before the bridge is permanently damaged.
