I encourage development but only if it is sustainable and causes no possible harm to our air, water, earth. Thank you.

HP water has a pinkish tint to it. This is why I only use other water from other sources! We do not need anymore foolishness near our water!

Keep High Point water safe. Do not allow a gas station to be built this close to our water supply. Protect the people AND the wildlife of High Point. Be responsible stewards of the people.

I am against the proposed development of a gas station, car wash, fast food station at the proposed location close to Eastchester and Gordon Road. I am an engineer and teacher who has lived in Highpoint for 20 years. I own my home. I have been an enthusiastic kayaker on both High Point City Lake and Oak Hollow. I agree with the comments in the video that save this is the wrong location, that while development is important, this is the wrong kind of development.

This would cause more congestion and be a detriment to Oak Hollow Lake. Besides, fuel and food are available two miles away. High Point doesn't need this.

Ridiculous to put that kind of development that close to Oak Hollow Lake.

We do not need another fueling station or fast food restaurant. This area is already over-congested, and the watershed needs first priority.

I would like members ofthe PlanningCommittee to come to the proposed site between 7 and 8 AM to traffic and comeback between 5-6PM to do the same.
But an equally important concern is to what this gas station/car wash/fast food place would do our water supply.

Highway 68 already has enough traffic and the residents have a hard time even getting out their own neighborhood. We have enough gas stations and car washes.

Please don’t allow gas station and car wash to be built. Our water is more important!
