Holiday Hill is absolutely hands down an AMAZING school!! The teachers, staff and principal are the BEST and both of my kids have grown so much from going to this school!!

Please save this school, it’s worth saving and it’s been a refuge to so many people. Losing our school will negatively impact this whole neighborhood. Getting rid of the school will show us you’ve given up and don’t care about this community’s education. Do not be on the wrong side of history!!

Replace the principal, but otherwise we LOVE the teachers and families. This school is a huge part of our community and it would be a tremendous loss! I have had 4 generations attend this school and it would be crushing to see it gone and I’m about to have another child start attending to keep the tradition going. Many of the teachers live in this community and have been part of this since I was in Kindergarten and that was 25 years ago! Please don’t take our school!!!!

Losing Holiday Hill Elementary would be devastating to the students and the community. It’s a wonderful magnet school. Both of my sons attended and continued on in the magnet program through high school, Please don’t take this school from the community.

HHE was a major reason why we purchased our home in 2020. As a lifelong Duval County resident, I've seen many changes in the public school system. However, closing this neighborhood school would be devastating to the students and the neighborhood. HHE is a cornerstone to our neighborhood and provides services to its students through its Title 1 designation, its Gifted and Academically Talented Leadership Magnet Program, and its outstanding ESE Pride Program. Please do not let these students get lost in the system because consultants say it's what's best. Listen to the students, teachers, and parents of HHE to know what is best for them.

I went to school at Holiday Hill school, my kids also went there and now my grandkids. This school has been around for a very long time and has provided education to neighbor children for over 45 years. This should not be happening our school is so important to us and our children. They go to school together and play together. What will happen with our kids now? Shove them into another school in classes that are already filled. Please not our school.
