Please there is a 90 year old lady who was a lovely teacher in that school and she is still in the neighborhood. Most of the residents have been alumni and they all most be really sad of this crazy idea become reality. Better close smoke clubs or nightclubs than schools.

This breaks my heart that elementary Alma mater could possibly go away. My Mom taught 3rd grade there and me and my siblings all went there. The thought of DCPS closing this school would be a detriment to the community. Please think twice about the decisions you make regarding HHE. Thank you.

I don’t want this school to close I’ve been in this neighborhood for 30 years! My 4 children went to this school an now my 2 grandsons. It’s a nice neighborhood school I don’t want them to be bused to another school!

Holiday Hill is a wonderful neighborhood school. Please don't close it! Elementary aged children do better in smaller schools and do not need to be in 800+ K-8 schools!

I went to Holiday Hill back in the 70’s. My sister, my brother and 2 of my cousins went there also. It’s part of what makes living in Holiday Hill, Glynlea-Grove Park so nice - being able to walk to school.

This school is a must in Holiday Hill/Glynlea/Grove Park. It serves to so many needs of special education in this neighborhood and outside of the neighborhood as well. I cannot imagine this neighborhood without it or why closing the school is even being considered.
