This is such an amazing service in the community, delivering independent advice from expert staff , that it would be tragic if Helping Hands was to close.

Having volunteered at helping hands I became very aware of how important this service is to its users, the closure of such an important and vitally important advice centre would be detrimental to the surrounding community.

Helping Hands offers wonderful practical help to assist and encourage those who are less able to help themselves.

Brilliant service for anyone especially for people who do not meet the eligibility criteria for social care services. One stop place for disadvantaged people to access any support they need. Very efficient and professional staff who offer non judgemental and person centred support

I am the Services Development Director for LCPT. We operate the County Advice Services for Adult Social Care. We know Helping Hands really helps people and would be an awful loss.

Without Helping Hands I wouldn't be the person I am today. They were the only organisation that listened to me and spoke to me like a human being. They helped with all my problems from start to finish and got me on the right path. I am no longer homeless and am a better, calmer person and back in control. They literally saved my life.
