Please don't close this very valuable service to the community !! South wigston is deprived and overlooked when it comes to spending money or improving it in any way it would be a disaster to close helping hands we have lost a great deal of things in south wigston over the years this service is very valuable to the local community

Helping hands is and are vital to some family's in need,it would b a travesty to close @helping hands that actually helps real people in REAL NEED.....please don't deny those family's that need that support the chance of getting that support

This is a vital resource in a society of reducing areas of support. There is a misguided view that everyone can and should access information via the Internet. This is simplistic especially in light of complex Benefits, ever changing eligibility for services whether social care or Housing. For many people access (via computers and Internet) to advice and support on a number of counts is problematic.

I run the South Wigston foodbank , helping hands comes to every session to give help and advice. The loss of this service would be a travesty. We have had many referrals from them and with the new universal benefits starting next January a lot of people will be disadvantaged by not having this service.
