I was very confused with season 2, then binged watched and saw how amazing it was...i wish people would give it another chance and i wish Syfy would respect the fans of this show and give us a decent ending...even in a mini series form. PLeASE!

This show gave me some hope the "Syfy" was moving back into the programming they should be showing, but no, they had to go and cancel this awesome gem of a show that has so much more potential. I would really love to see a season 3. Hell, I would love to see this run to season 10 as I feel it honestly could with Alan now being an immortal. so much more to tell and cut short. Bring this show back.

Please bring back this amazing show back. I usually don't like shows like this but I got hooked on it when my 16 month olds sons 84 year old great great great grandma had me put it on when we were sitting with her one day. It was season 2 that she was watching and that night I went and watched all of season 1 and got caught up on season 2 and have been watching it ever since. It I'd a awesome and wonderful show. So please bring it back.

Please don't cancel Helix! Been with it since Episode 1. Our whole family loves it. Here's a show with talented writers and actors. Get rid of some stupid useless reality show instead!

i love Helix, i thought season 2 was awesome the turn that it took from season 1 about all those other poeple that were immortal was so cool & then with the twist being all being in 1 mans hand was so cool Michael loved it, and Hiroshi living out there with his" lil family" oh well we thought he was that was just brilliant i just loved this entire show PLEASE PLEASE renew this show it is an absolutely amazing Television Show that needs to be on!!!!

Despite knowing that the show was cancelled, I finally got around to watching Season 2 of Helix, and I was surprised to see that the season was much stronger than the first. One of the elements that I liked in Season 2 was the inherent weirdness in how the story plays out, which is going to give this season, if not the show, cult classic status. The open ending of the season suggested that Season 3 would be something great to look forward to.
Season 2 of Helix ended much as Season 1 did: ready for a reboot in a new setting as the global story continues. While some might consider the story over the top, for a horror series it is ultimately more fulfilling than the more recent seasons of FX network contender American Horror Story due to the continuity of characters that likely would be returning for Season 3 in the same roles. The characters are developing and moving the story forward.
My thoughts on what happened to the viewership is that the story in Season 1 ended weakly. Season 2, on the other hand, stayed interesting all the way through because the story was more interesting, seeing the returning Season 1 characters face off against challenges that they would never have expected, such as Peter embracing the dark side of himself, and Alan trapped as an enemy against his will.
During Season 2, SyFy was showing lots of commercials for all of its upcoming shows this year. Well, guess what? Do I want to risk watching these shows if the stories do not reach fruition? When I found out that Helix was renewed after Season 1's weak ending, I was thinking, "Here is a network that does not abandon its shows if the viewership is not high enough like NBC or ABC. (Examples: Revolution; Happy Town; The River)." I guess I was wrong.
