I come all the way from Spain to have a drink in this pub, and only because of Charlee and Shaz, fantastic hosts.

I think that Marstons are making a huge mistake shaz and Charlee are amazing landlady's they go above and beyond for the community. They organise a pensioners lunch every year for free. The Queens is a community hub not just a pub , they have made it a safe place to be they got Rid of the drugs and won't tolerate anti social behaviour . It is one of the best pubs in the area shaz has improved the garden making it Dog and family . Every year they organise a big charity music festival what is going to happen to that?. They try their hardest and no matter what they always make you feel welcome. Shame on you Marstons! I for one won't be coming back in here if you make them leave!

We are very lucky to have 2 pubs in our village, with contrasting styles to suit all, we must support them, as they support us… please sign and Save Our Shaz!!!

Shaz and Charlee are amazing, hardworking people with hearts of gold who are dearly loved within the community and make the Queens a wonderful, popular and welcoming place.
The Brewery's treatment of them is appalling.
They have always supported the music festival and local musicians, the festival is a yearly tradition that everyone enjoys and looks forward to, this year being it's 30th anniversary.
It would be an absolute travesty for Shaz, Charlee and the Queens not to be involved.
Marstons should be ashamed of themselves

The best thing to happen to the pub and community for years. The pub trade is down nationwide and this just yet again puts the heart of the local community in risk of closing for good!
