As a resident of Harford County, I consider Upper Chesapeake my family's hospital. Not approving the much needed expansion of the Upper Chesapeake campus is unacceptable. I have personally experienced my own family members boarding in the emergency department due to lack of medical-surgical beds. Failing to approve the request will be detrimental to the residents and my family in Harford County.

We routinely cannot get patients out of the PACU due to lack of beds at UCMC. The Aberdeen campus proposed is necessary for the high number of psychiatric patients/problems in HARFORD county.
