Hayling has more crime on it than ever before, it is vital to have a police officer on the Island. We should have more than 1 really and then maybe there wouldn't be the trouble in the parks etc that there seems to be now.

I have heard lovely comments about Debbie from many people; not least my lovely 103 year old neighbour, Doris Long. When I told her about Debbie leaving she was very upset.

Crime won't go away just because the council wants to save money on police officers. If there are no officers and no front desk (there isn't!) the islanders will not be safe!

Debbie is an irreplaceable member of the Hayling Island community and removing her would be a massive loss to the island and the police team.

To have only two dedicated Officers was bad enough, but to reduce the dedicated Hayling force to one, makes no sense when the population is growing.

It wasn't that long ago that Hayling had a Police Station, 2 Sgts., 2 D.C's and 14 PC's. Can crime levels have dropped so much on Hayling? I think not. Lots of the locals know Debbie, as do most of the kids at The Hayling College. To move Debbie to Havant or wherever would have a massive impact on the community. Hampshire Constabulary should reconsider this move. We vote in local councillors and we also voted in Alan MAK, you are there to serve us so start listening to what your electorate say
