I an a grand child of the original owners. My father grew up on Grove Lake. He fished, hunted deer and talked about it often. Thank you for looking out for the land and water. Sincerely, Ingrid

We don't need a campground on Grove lake it will ruin the lake and there will be to much noise and traffic for the people that live there

This otter tail planning commission failed us . They voted against it the 1st time because of environmental issues. then the 2nd time they didn't want us people to bring up anything from previous meeting. Only thing that changed was 1 less camper and the applicant moved the road access. They shut us down for any rebuttal. The planning commission did not address any environmental issues this 2nd time. If this campsite goes thu there will not be anymore fish stocking program anymore or any donations from around the lake. This applicant has done nothing to help our lake.

That lake is too small for fifteen boats to be on it at one time. Anyone who wants to fish cannot, without having someone run over there lines. Anyone Currently living next to the proposed site, will I have their property values diminished and there Insurance will probably double the rates. So are they gonna compensate for that?

This would double the amount of boat slips on the lake. None of the public concerns were addressed by the commission before voting to approve. It was as if it was going to be approved, it only depended on the restrictions. There is a boat access with no control over who uses it. Some don’t care or abide by the restrictions. The county has signs by my place stating “no boat landing” and no parking, but they do it anyway. Why does one person get to set the tone for the current lake residents.
